No Depeche Mode Fans? New album "Playing the Angel"

I was surprised to see on a forum with such musically inclined individuals to find no discussion of Depeche Mode's new release!



For anyone who was disappointed in Exciter, I think you'll be surprised and blown away by how good this new album is.

You can hear a few songs off the new album on Depeche Mode's MySpace page.

Has anyone picked it up yet? Additionally has anyone gotten their tickets for the new tour? :)

I'll be seeing them December 4th in Montreal :D

havent heard much from depeche mode, but what i have heard i love.

I have only heard Exciter which I thought was a very good album, though I haven't any to hold up against, but I definitely enjoyed it. If I had money to spare, I would buy it :)

Exciter is pretty much the worst out of their modern albums. That's not to say it's a bad album, because it isn't, it just doesn't stand up to the other stuff.

Songs of Faith and Devotion (1993)
Ultra (1997)
