those movies you hate yourself for loving

Darius of Tresserhorn:
Chasing Amy makes me cry.

Does that count?

Mnementh:
I love the Breakfast Club and other brat pack movies, and I'm not really ashamed of it.

I am a bit ashamed to say that I both saw and enjoyed "Bring it On" in the theater when it came out.  Twice.

Daniel:
I, too, have an irrational love for Bring It On. The one thing that's restrained me from buying it is that I've never seen it for a less-than-high price. I will never, ever, watch the sequel, though.

--- Quote ---I'd love to be able to say I've never watched a single episode of Buffy: The Vampire Slayer (I'd really, really love to be able to say that) but sadly, this isn't the case. I've seen two episodes of this godawful series in full, one of which was this terrible musical episode, and both of which were forced upon me by a drunken friend one Thanksgiving.
--- End quote ---

I do so love Buffy, and I love the musical episode - but it's really not the best place to start with the series. It only really works if you know the characters. Plus by Season 6, then show was going downhill. If you watched, say, season 2, you'd understand why so many people love the show.

...I should watch the Princess Bride again, soon - it is a delight of a film.

CHEESEGOD:
The Breakfast Club, I love this movie. And um....About A Boy

Darius of Tresserhorn:
Oh, crap, just remembered.

Picnic at Hanging Rock, not really that I'm embarassed by it, it's just such an odd movie that I had to mention it.

Another one would be Big Trouble in Little China.
