Children of Bodom - Hate Me!

Because I needed cheering up, dammit.

"Led by the Reaper I walk in the night,
Show me the way to yer kingdom come!

I believe in Armageddon, I've been baptised in alcohol,
I'm enbodyment of Antichrist,
I'm living for my own demise!

I was born in ashes of molten hatred,
Raised by demons in abodes of the end...
The Reaper's scythe I fall upon to light my path,
Wrecked by mangled wounds of life.
I have become become...the resurrection of the Evil one
'Y know that I don't fucking care if I live or die!

I need a bishop preaching fire to get away with my sins
I despise everything I see so...
I DON'T GIVE A FUCK IF YOU HATE ME!"

Skyclad - The Truth Famine

Jeez, I really don't see how people can find Martin Walkyier's voice emotionless. People have no grasp of subtlety. If someone's sad he's gotta be crying like a bitch. If someone's angry he's gotta be screaming. Fuck that. Such anger!

"The nadir of despair we have sunk to is easy to gauge:
Our children grow thinner and ever more bitter with age!
From Newcastle's shipyards to Nottingham's pits,
They strip down our country and sell it in bits.
Election day promises seemingly now null and void...
While microchip minds keep the industry grinding,
We all hunt for jobs that we've no chance of finding,
No change in the everyday lives of the mass unemployed.

A red letter day for our nowhere industrial town:
A minister's heading this way - he's closing us down.
But what of my daughter - and what of my son?
Just how will they live when the factory's gone?"

I have just lended Silent Whales of Lunar Sea and Prince of the Poverty Line from the Library, so I am pretty excited to finally hear some Skyclad!

Jasmine Star - Nowhere

it's sucks but in an odd fascinating way, especially because of the whole recorded in an asylum thing.

FROM YOUR LIBRARY?

I can't even buy those albums. Dang. Anyway, aren't you the one who hates all metal? You did pick their two most metal albums. You would probably have been better off with Oui Avant-Garde a Chance or maybe No Daylights...Nor Heeltaps. Much as I dislike that album on sheer principle.

Pink Floyd - High Hopes

Probably the last good song they ever did.

Sometimes you're just in the mood for the CLASSIX. This album is so close to perfect I could reach out and shake perfect's hand.

Well I ordered them from another library, my library has nada and those two were the only ones they had so... I like Prince of the Poverty Line but I can't quite make out what he is saying at times, that is the only minus and that the cd is a bit... damaged?

The Frames are awesome!  I actually like their For the Birds stuff best, but the latest album is a welcome return to the rockin'.  I am sad that they are not more popular in the States.

I am currently listening to:

Tortoise - Dot/Eyes

For some reason, I'm really digging It's All Around You a lot more in the past couple months.  It's like the album went to camp for the summer and came back four inches taller, lost the zits, cut the hair, got contacts and had the braces taken off.  It's the Tortoise equivalent of Kirk Cameron in Full House!

some Buckethead bootleg that jumps around songs too much to actualyl be labeled by song titles, unfortunatly. Such is the case with Buckethead.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.
