Micolithe:
You don't have to keep minimizing and maximizing, for one thing. Just click the tab and poof a page that you already loaded.

Although I do use TabMix because the default tab width is way too wide.

Inlander:
But - I click the panels for the various windows (both browser, and other programmes) that appear in the taskbar across the bottom of the screen, and BAM!  They're there.  Tab, schmab.

Imagine having one window for all your open websites instead of multiple taskbars? What if you have other programs running...

Even IE is hacking tabs into it with the horrible MSN toolbar.

McTaggart:
Inlander: have you tried using tabs? Because sure, it might not sound like much but once you're used to it it's invaluable.

Inlander:
I've used Firefox, and thus tabs, on a couple of occasions on my cousin's computer.  I don't habitually have more than three browser windows open at a time, though, so perhaps for my level of use it just doesn't make that much difference.  In any case, I'm usually flicking between two windows, in which case the keyboard command "Alt-Tab" does the trick nicely.
