Thrillho:

--- Quote from: Kai ---Bob Dylan: The Times The Are a Changin, or Blood on the Tracks, IMO, although you'll get different answers from different people.

--- End quote ---

Blood On The Tracks is probably his most universal work, yeah - however I think that Bringing It All Back Home is the perfect Dylan album to start with. The first side is him inventing rock music; the second half is old-school protest music with just him, a guitar and a wheezing harmonica.

heretic:
i love dinosaur jr. also RJD2 puts on a great show.
i keep meaning to give..
the flaming lips
ratatat
sonic youth

StrikeThePostman:
Architecture in Helsinki
Mogwai
Ted Leo and The Pharmacists (I've heard a few tracks, and I can't decide whether I think they're worth a chance or just something I'd get tired of very fast.)
