--- Quote from: DynamiteKid ---Well it was either that or go into my spiel about how 'best' is ridiculously subjective, no-one will ever agree, a million arguments will start, no-one will post one track (not even the thread starter for God's sake), hardly any-one's lists will overlap..
--- End quote ---
So . . . let me get this straight . . . if people don't agree about the best song ever, then the thread is worthless because tastes are subjective? Also if people have different favorites, then fighting is inevitable?
That's funny, DynamiteKid, because prior to your posts all I saw were interesting, thoughtful responses; mutually respectful despite being quite different. And I was looking forward to listening to a whole bunch of new music, just because someone on the board said it was their favorite. Maybe it wouldn't be my favorite -- but at least I would get the opportunity to listen to songs that I might have missed otherwise -- and that I might like!
Guess you're wrong huh? And that's not opinion -- that's fact. I've got empirical evidence. Now go away. Maybe you should go to the wrong thread. You know, the one for people that are wrong? Say . . .I bet it would be a big hit if you reposted that graphic, but instead of "fishing for replies", you changed it to "fishing for wrong".

You almost had me on your side until that ridiculous third paragraph.
--- Quote ---is it ironic if the first person to post something "argumentative" in this thread is someone who dislikes the concept of the thread because it'll start arguments?
--- End quote ---
No.
It isn't.
No.

I was about to say covers shouldn't count, but then I decided it really doesn't matter...lots of covers are better than the original.
