i think it annoys this crowd becasue shameless self-promoting, when concerned with successful bands, is looked down upon. at least i look down on it. they're huge. they have a massive fan base. they really don't need to pull this kind of self-gratifying stunt to get people to know them or take notice of a tour. they're doing something so obvously commercial with something that's not supposed to act this way. they're not promoting a fast food joint, this is fucking music. music isn't supposed to operate the same way as all other coporate endevors. this particular action happens to be so blatently commercial that it opens it's self as a target and symbol for what is wrong with the music industry. it makes me want to shove credit cards through thier eyes. fuck coldplay.

also, their music sucks big floppy donkey dick.

I got the e-mail from the site announcing their new website. I checked out the site. I checked the date for the nearest performance, noted the date, and moved on.


I didn't give any of this a second thought.
