they're slovenian to be precise but sing in german, presumably because it sounds evil ;) They are named after the german name for the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana.

yup. he's living in Los Angeles now, yeah, but he's originally from Canada. he was in a band up there called King Apparatus.
