HtB ftw.

--- Quote from: Bunnyman ---Look, if it involves guitars in any way other than sampled and looped, contains not even a wry allusion to the TB303, and wasn't assembed in ReNoise or ProTools or a pair of Tech-12s, it's simply not worth listening to.

I still don't quite understand how this relates to anything in this post, unless I missed a random comment preceeding yours.
Bastardous Bassist:
They better demonstrate a lot more technical ability to even be called technical in any way shape or form. I think they're kind of boring, personally. The songs kind of meander. They don't really have any direction, which makes me not be interested in them at all. However, they do one of my favorite things at some points in their songs; counterpoint!

If it makes you feel better, I have heard of Anathallo, really enjoy them and enjoy them live even more than on CD.
They are from the same scene as Sufjan Stevens. Anywho they are pretty darn good live, I was honestly very impressed, i mean hell for a group of kids that come from hardcore bands to make albums like this. Yeah. The song structure does kinda meander but its all still cohesive especialy if you listen to the albums as a whole. The new album is pretty spiffy and has some sweeeeet artwork.
If lolapolooza werent so expensive I would go see them on it this summer.

Yeah, that's definatly the case. Their new album is the only one that's really captured their live effect, at least almost.
