Embarassing Music Purchases

Patrick:
As insightful as lofin's post was, it doesn't change the fact that I wouldn't be caught dead listening to that stuff anymore.

But my very first CD was Smashmouth's "AstroLounge," and I still have/love it to this day. I am not embarrassed about that CD in the least. Same deal with my second CD, the Offspring's "Americana."

--- Quote from: KimJongSick ---On NOFX: anybody who writes a song that makes fun of stupid 12-year-old kids who are all like OMG LOLOLZ ANARCHY ("Murder the Government") can't be that bad. 'Cause I mean, if you're willing to give up that big a percentage of America's record buyers just to make fun of them, you're pretty cool in my book.

Damn right.
I still listen to NOFX. I like the fact that they're willing to make fun of most of their fans too. Yay.

Limp Bizkit - Significant Other, Chocolate Starfish (although I lent the former to a friend like 4 years ago and haven't seen in since. Not that I want it back, but it the better of the 2 albums)
Len - You Can't Stop the Bum Rush
Joe - My Name Is Joe
Ja Rule - Rule 3:36
Sugar Ray - 14:59
Creed - Human Clay
American Pie 2 Soundtrack
some other stuff

--- Quote from: Willem ---He even did songs with sum 41 actually. That doesn't make them any better. Trent reznor did a song with bowie, that doesn't mean nin is suddenly good (from my perspective anyway. I dislike nin) Dave Grohl wants to work with Joss Stone..her music's still shit...
--- End quote ---

You don't have to get all defensive. I was just asking you if you knew. Sheesh.
