Snail of Doom:
This is similar to my Band Names thread. Pick a song a create a video concept for it
Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger by Daft Punk
Concept: "The Amazing Robot Band"
On busy streetcorner stands a large, cloth draped box. A few pedestrians stand mezmorized by it. Suddenly, a small man steps out from behind it, wearing a suit and top hat.
"Ladies and Gentlemen!" Several people stop and stare. "I present to you a marvel of modern technology" More people stop. "Under this cloth, are sentient life forms, made up of bolts and bits, sheet metal and simulations. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, ROBOTS!" A few people gasp. "These specific robots were built for one purpose and one purpose only. To play music! Ladies and Gentlemen, the Amazing Robot Band!"
To a few cheers and scattered applause, the cloth is whipped off the box. Through the glass walls can be seen for human-sized robots. One behind a drum set, one on bass, one on guitar, and one with a mic.
The music starts. At first the robots seem to be doing nothing. Upon closer examination, one would notice that they are tapping their feet to the rhythm. Some people walk off, thinking it's a joke. All at once, the music goes from fuzzy to clear, and the robots come to life. The drummer drums, the guitarist and bassist pluck away, and the singer, not having any words yet, dances. Several people in the crowd join him.
All the while the robot band members have these eerie, too-happy smiles on their "faces".
The vocals begin, "sung" with what would seem to be much joy from the robot behind the mic. A few lines in, the singer's face starts to flicker between his normal expression and one of confusion, then between confusion and panic. Nobody on the sidewalk seems to notice this, as they are all dancing. As the vocals become more intense, the singer's panic gets larger. He seems to be resisting his preprogrammed dance routine, struggling to gain control of his own limbs. He is becoming hysteric, small black "tears" running down his face. The small man notices, and runs behind the box to a control panel, where he then begins madly flipping switches. Still the music and dancing continue.
Hysteric panic becomes rage and fear as the vocals reach their highest point. The singer begins banging his robot fists on the glass in front of him, but to no avail. The vocals stop for a few measures, the rage leaving the singer's face. He backs away, still fearfull.
The vocals start again. Slowly but surely, the singer's expression flickers back into that eerie smile as his program regains control. The music nears it's end. The small man leans against the box, breathing heavily.
The last line of the song, one last flicker of fear. The song ends with a freeze frame of the robot singer's face, smiling like it began.

TheLoweringTide:
SCENE ONE
Ray goes to his favorite childhood chinese restaurant
But it is out of business
He's all like "Enough o' this!"
He sets up his piano inside and starts to play
All these people show up and are all dancing (to the music)
Suddenly the restaurant is in business again
The chinese chef is dancing around with everyone and holding a ladle, all goin' nuts
Ray sees a beautiful lady
They get into a limo; the limo peels out (lots of smoke)
A child picks up a faded chinese menu, looks up
The restaurant is out of business again
It was all a dream...OR WAS IT?
END
(This has been scientifically proven to be the best music video concept that could possibly exist. Everyone else can just go home.)
Snail of Doom:
--- Quote from: Spinless ---Actually, Snail Of Doom's idea, to me, sounds, a lot like, the best idea, ever.
Seriously. Do it. It'd be cooler than Norman.
(Points if you know Norman)

I dunno who Norman is, but thank you very much! ^_^
Thrillho:
Okay, the video starts with a band in the rain, totally soaking wet. Then you notice that the rain is actually falling up and the band is slowly getting drier. It ends with them totally dry. The catch is, they're not using computer trickery, the band have actually learned to mime the song backwards (as best they can).
Mr. Oysterhead:
--- Quote from: Spinless ---No problem! But don't quote me when my post is right ontop of you...
My idea would involve lesbians. And kissing. And lots of rain/wet t-shirts.
--- End quote ---
I do enjoy that concept. That's not even a concept, that's just gold in idea form.
