He is basically a genious, and if he ruled the earth, it would be so effin amazing. He and Danny Elfman make such a great team... their movies make the world a better place. :)

Hes up there on my top directors list, i was a tad disappointed with Plant of The Apes however, but Beetlejuice is still one of my favorites.

I actually haven't seen Planet of the Apes... looked eeh.


My favorite films of his are probably Edward Scissorhands and Nightmare Before Christmas. I loved Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as well, but the squirrel's nuts joke surprised me a bit. I expect a wee bit more from him, haha.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was ace! (apart from the slight "americanisation" of some bits.....or maybe that was just me)

I wanna see Corpse Bride but if I go to the cinema I've got to take my little sister and brother (ages 7 and 6). Dya think it'd scare them? Or more importantly, is it worth seeing? (I've heard mixed reviews)

Sideways:
He's got an excellent artistic eye, that's for sure... but I've never been too happy with the pacing in any of his films.

He's unique, that's for sure.
