God doesn't always have the best Goddamn plans, does he?
rive gauche:
I don't understand why people think the original version of "Sons and Daughters of Hungry Ghosts" is better than the Apologies version, which just sounds like the original except a lot less muddled. 'Mirite?
KharBevNor:
I don't understand what the fuck you're talking about.
Joseph:
He's refering to the Wolf Parade song Sons and Daughters of Hungry Ghosts. I haven't heard the original version (I'm guessing it's off their EP), but I love the version on Apologies to the Queen Mary. It's definately my favorite song on the album.
KharBevNor:
Now, see, that wasn't so hard. So why make a thread with an unrelated title and then talk about specific infortmation about tracks by a band not everyone here has heard.
Say, on that note, The version of Nostalgia that comes on Defending the Throne of Evil, or the 'Last Sigh of Nostalgia' rehearsal version from In These Trees Are My Gallows?
Dara:
I guess cuz people who had heard the song would know, or something, and people who didn't wouldn't have the answer he was looking for.
I haven't heard the original but I enjoy the Apologies version quite a bit.
