Partially because Starcraft is nearly a decade old.

For all we know, Starcraft 2 may never be made because Blizzard realized just how much fucking money they can make from WoW.

You kidding?  The entire nation of South Korea would preorder StarCraft 2 without so much as blinking.  It's a multi-billion dollar check waiting to be cashed.
