Crotchduster

Vlishgnath:
Ok, I'm curious to know how many of you know who this band is.  It blows my mind that ANYONE does, to tell you the truth.  I've always known it as a friend's dumb ass side project (back in the Capharnaum days when Jay's silly shit didn't have a name) that always makes me laugh hysterically.

So who else is in the know?

Catatonik:
*raises hand*

I have a Box of Shit.

I always think of Crotchduster side by side with Zimmershole for sheer amusement value, and entertainment.

Good shit.

KharBevNor:
Big Fat Box of Shit is pretty much one of my favourite albums ever. There are fucking crazy whacked out bands out there, but none of them touches the mighty Crotchduster. It's also pretty fecking awesome that you know Jason/Fornicus 'Fuckmouth' McFlappy. Is the stuff on their website about doing another album ever gonna come to glorious results?

Also, does anyone else think it's pretty crazy that Capharnaum can have members in projects as awesome as Crotchduster and as shite as Trivium at the same time? 'Cos I do.

Crotchduster are pretty well known in the underground metal scene anyway, in my experience. I personally use them as the way to see who's cool and who's a humourless douche. Cool people like Crotchduster, humourless douches do not.

Vlishgnath:
I'd have to go look at the website to see what tracks are on the CD.  I'm sure the Opus and Mammal Sauce are on there.  Is Pushups with Steve on it?  That's one of the classics.  I get all of his stuff in mp3's from my bandmate who is much closer friends with the big J than I.

Did someone from Capharnaum join up with Trivium?  I haven't paid any attention to Trivium outside of when Jay was telling me about recording them.

And when Capharnaum broke up (the original band, not J and Jordan's material they did last year... at least I think it was last year) I lost contact with Tony and the others.

I'll find out if J's got any new stuff and let ya know, Khar.

Oh, this was back in the Capharnaum days, but did you ever hear Gargamel?  They did a black metal sideproject and had some stuff up on ye old mp3.com.  It was awesome.

Cpt.Fantastic:
Cain Sings The Blues scares my mum.

It's probably for the best that she can't hear the lyrics properly...
