"Leave it down at the dog and duck or you'll get a slap sunshiiine..."

That song rules. I suppose I just think of Bill more as a standup than a musical artist. Which is odd, I suppose.

Tenacious D, Bill Bailey's awesome songs and Shellac's Watch Song always make me laugh.

"Hey you....HEY! I WANNA START A FIGHT WITH YOOOOOU!"

Haha, yeah. I think 1000 Hurts has a few gems. New Number Order is also good for a chuckle because it's so over the top.

Also, I would like to add The Moldy Peaches to my list. They're so bad they're awesome again.

That prayer from 1000 Hurts got me laughing the first time I heard it. I also didn't know who it was or where the song was going to go, which made it so much funnier.

Another couple I forgot to mention: three spots on the new Milemarker album.
-The opening of the song "Virtual Sex," for starting with a quiet solo bass riff and the line "All this virtual sex."
-Later in the same song, the band goes quiet and you hear a cell phone ringing; the first time through, it sounded like the singer then yelled "man, who's that calling in the MIDDLE OF THE SONG?!" (it was actually "middle of the night"
-The song "Landlord," wherein I first thought the singer randomly screamed "IT'S 1996 YOU MOTHERFUCKER!!!!!!"

But isn't everything funny when you hear it wrong?

I'm very sad that nobody's mentioned Frank Zappa yet. Valley Girl cracked me up the first time I heard it.

I'm quite partial to "Bobby Brown" myself. and who can forget the classics, "Why Does it Hurt When I Pee?" and "Catholic Girls"? Yeah, Zappa's joke tracks were bitchin.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.
