OMG PUNX!

Odds are that this won't really appeal to most of you guys, but I figured I'd share this here. I'm in a punk band called Ataxic Nation (which I won't ask you to check out, since all we have at the moment is a shitty demo we did when we were only together for about 3 months), and I've taken to recording the songs I write on my digital 4-track. I do the bass and guitar tracks myself, and do the best I can with the 4-track's built-in drum machine for the drum track. I spent all night recording this one, and I'm really happy with how it came out. The tentative title is Tearing Up The Social Contract.

Check it out, if you would. I think it's pretty rockin'.

*initiating ego preservation protocol*

An understandable decision. It might very well rock your face clean off.

I too will not click that link, but I give you my moral support!  Good job on being in a band and stuff.

A hint, tell us you are actually good, sell yourself, do a little self promotion.

Woot. Thanks a lot. ^__^

I fully intend to keep that standard. The band is honestly the most important part of my life right now, and I really hope we can take it somewhere.

We're on a bit of a short hiatus right now, though, on account of our other guitarist having a kid on the way... I can't wait until things get rolling again.

Dear people who posted just to say you won't be clicking,

The art of the "tl;dr" (or equivalent) is the ultimate form of internet dickery.

Love,
Gabe

That said, not bad, buddy. It seriously feels like it's straddling between regular punk and hardcore. But in this case, it's a good thing.

Sorry, but I the very title of the song put me off downloading it. "Tearing Up The Social Contract" just seems so.. uhh, pop punk. Y'know, with the impotent rage and the "OMG SOCIETY SUX".

But yeah, keep up with the band and stuff.

How many punks does it take to change a light bulb?

Trick question! Punks can't change anything!

Hahahaha... haha... heh... Ow... wait... that hurts.
