Combinethresher:
Anyone else here into psychobilly at all? I love the stuff, but I often find myself alone in that opinion.

For the unfamiliar, Tiger Army and Nekromantix are more popular psychobilly bands, and thereby good examples; others include Batmobile, the Meteors, Demented Are Go, Mad Sin, and Klingonz, among many others.

Sonet:
I'm not too much into it, but I do thoroughly enjoy Tiger Army. I wish my copy of Power of Moonlight wasn't so scratched up.

KharBevNor:
I enjoy Tiger Army a lot, not to mention The Reverend Horton Heat, a bit of Nekromantix, The Meteors and The Ghastly Ones, at least in small doses. I love the feel and imagery of it, that sort of classic horror/southern gothic vibe.

NP: Tiger Army - Ghostfire

Yay!

sketchyjoe:
Mad Sin is easily my favourite Psychobilly band. Survival of the Sickest is an amazing album.

I saw The Horrorpops last Monday. They weren't bad live but I'm not a big fan. Their guitarist looks just like Kramer from Seinfeld.

Reverend Horton Heat is pretty cool. I'm seeing him in April.

Other Psychobilly bands I enjoy: The Coffin Nails, Godless Wicked Creeps, The Meteors, The Legendary Shack Shakers, The Cramps and Batmobile.

That would be Nekroman, the singer/coffinbassist for Nekomantix. He's married to Patricia from the Horrorpops. And yes, he does resemble Kramer.

Good call, whoever mentioned GWC, they rock. I've been listening to a lot of Scum Rats, Gorilla, and Frenzy myself.
