In my opinion; you should not obsess about microphone placement. I do both of either mic'ing the cabinet or running the pod direct in studio match mode. It DOES help when you can turn up to where you need to. But I think mostly you just need to forget about how EXACTLY it sounds and just set it up whichever and try to make your playing sound good. But maybe my ears just aren't working any more.

Have you ever tried to draw in 3d? a 3d Hannelore would be awesome.

I figure I oughta get the hang of the whole drawing in 2D thing before I mess around with any extra dimensions

Then bring Hannelore to life in Second Life!

Yeah, she'll have it cleaned up within a week  :D

that would be interesting.

Again, congratulations on becoming a homeowner!

Jepser:
I've run a search and concluded that at least in this thread, this hasn't been asked.

How come 'Scary Go Round' isn't in your 'recommended' list of comics on the right side of the site? I've discovered it through Jeff Rowland's site actually; and it struck me as odd that I hadn't gotten there from QC, which is how I started reading about 80% of the 'other' webcomics I know. Its mix of drama and jokes seems similar to yours.

Dear Jeph;
How long was your hair before you shaved?
