Jeph answered this one here on his Tumblr. In paragraph #10 he says "Drawing is a SKILL, not a TALENT. It can be learned by virtually anybody with the patience and will to do it."

I'm a better artist (Albeit an infinitely slower one) that Jeph, and I have to say I agree. people tell me "I wish I could draw like you" and I tell them "I did to! once!"
Just freakin' WORK ON IT.
