Help good music beat bad music!

KharBevNor:
If DC++ got into an argument with BitTorrent in a bar, it would grind a broken bottle in BT's face, kick it in the balls so hard it would have to go through puberty again, then sleep with its girlfriend, it's sister and it's mum.

Just saying.

Kai:
I wouldn't know, I never got around to using DC++ to do anything with it.

KharBevNor:
Seriously, if you can find me torrents for any Hobb's Angel of Death/Hobb's Satan Crusade, Navicon Torture Technologies or Curse of the Golden Vampire albums, my opinion might improve, but not too much, because I already got them all off of DC++.

amok:

--- Quote from: Kai ---I'm still baffeld by the fact that people still don't use BitTorrent and download their music song by song.

I find downloading song by song from soulseek faster than Bittorrent because I can never seem to get decent speeds on BT unless there's like a billion seeds, and it's much preferable to just download off someone on slsk with a 50k/s+ transfer speed

also slsk is where I got my Navicon Torture Tech :D

Ok, to answer questions in no particular order:

1) Yes the school will be kinda censoring, insofaras we (the sixth form) are in charge and have to moderate what we play (no sweary words, no overty sex-based songs) or face the wrath of the headteacher.

2) Downloading via torrents is how I get my music usually. Converting said torrented mp3's into wav's is a short term solution, but doesn't provide the high clarity a pure wav would.

3) The catch with using itunes is that the aac files are protected and so cause problems on the radio software. You also can't convert them to wav, and we've been given strict guidlines of WAV's only.

I still need all the CD's mentioned above in direct-ripped wav format, or any other lossless format that can be converted to WAV. If you're able to help, please get in touch. I also have an ftp server that they can be uploaded to for quicker transfer if you have ftp access. Please help!

Also, for all you americans with your smooth and silky accents and a microphone, we need you! If anyone can record themselves saying "The Breaktime Bash" or any variation on that theme ie. "Get your groove on with the Breaktime Bash" in your best film trailer voice, that would be awesome.
Send them to me and get mad props as well as the optunity to be a radio jingle
