Nope. German. As is Kreator, actually. And Sodom and Destruction. Germany was the other big thrash scene.
And Tankard cannot touch Testament. Not even with copious amounts of alcohol.

The thing about Tankard is that maybe if they'd fed some of those killer riffs into 'proper' songs they would be as big as Kreator nowadays.

Let's face it, Tankard could probably take anyone in a bar brawl. They're not called 'the Kings of Beer' for nothing. I believe the members toyed with calling their genre 'alcohol metal' for a while.

While not a new album, The Residents are doing a serious of podcasts, like a radio drama, those old detective noir story things. so badass.
