Exodus is my favorite thrash band except Testament.
Oh, and for starters with Iced Earth, get Days of Purgatory if you can find it. It's a 2 disc set with rerecordings of all of the best songs from their first 3 albums with much, much better sound quality.

Thanks. I've since set up DC++ and have gotten a little chunk of this done with; I downloaded Candlemass' Self titled, and Agoraphobic Nosebleed's Altered States of America. Yeah, much easier to find the more obscure things.

Widow. Widow is an American heavy metal band, but they're so obscure that even if you're from the US, you need to import their CDs! I thought that was very funny.
