Iron and Wine and Neutral Milk Hotel, I used to be kind of unaccepting to different voices.

Animal Collective. First song I heard was "Native belle" and I was like "okay, so the last half of this song is pretty cool.... but it's all effect'd to death." "We Tigers" first caught my attention, and I decided I liked them, but then I heard "Did You See The Words?" and the rest of Feels and just fell in looooooooove.
almost thursday:
arcade fire. i wanted to hate them because they were so damn hyped and everybody liked them, and i actually managed to do it until they released power out, at which pointi realised i was just cutting off my nose to spite my face. so now i love them like everybody else in the world. ah well.

Practically every band that I currently like is a band that I hated upon first hearing of their music.

Pearl Jam.
Machine Head.
The Beatles.
