Fun Stuff > BAND
So I feel like a total loser asking this, but...
minkles:

The (International) Noise Conspiracy, Animal Collective, Architecture in Helsinki, Cat Power, Cursive, Dangerdoom, Death From Above 1979, Deerhoof, Dizzee Rascal, The Faint, Fiery Furnaces, The Go! Team, Lady Sovereign, LCD Soundsystem, M.I.A., The Magnetic Fields, Modeselektor, The National, Okkervil River, Saturday Looks Good To Me, Sigmatropic, Sleater-Kinney, Sonic Youth, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Test Icicles, Tom Vek, TV on the Radio, The Unicorns, Xiu Xiu, Zero 7.
Mr. Oysterhead:
That is probably the typical playlist of every indie person ever, give or take a few staple bands.
taytaysayswuh?:
im not in the mood to read the entire list of posts so im just gonna throw my oppinion out there and hope no one stomps on my tongue.
The sounds of animals fighting(if you like mars volta type stuff)
mew (noise pop)
headwound city (side project of locust, blood bros, yeayeahs)
school yard heroes (im not exactly sure)
the chariot ( hardcore (grindcore maybe?))
hello goodbye (obnoxiously happy powerpop)
Praeserpium Machinarum:
If we are talking about the same Mew, you would have to buy something before Frengers to get some noise pop. Half the World is Watching Me for example. Definitely not their new one And the Glass Handed Kites because they went prog big time on that one.
Kai:
