Haha!  I bought my ticket some time last year, basically as soon as they were announced.  Hot-damn, I'm excited.

Also, if anyone's interested the Mountain Goats are returning here in April.  Bonnie 'Prince' Billy is coming in a couple of weeks, I believe.  And Jens Lekman is coming back some time in February or March.  I have a feeling it's gonna be a great year for live music in Australia!

I'm seeing them at the Laneway Festival - I decided it was best to buy a ticket to that, rather than the BSS and some of the other side shows. Well, not so much best, but cheaper. I got my ticket last year too.

The Bonnie Prince Billy show is sold out already in Sydney I think :(

Anyone going to the Brisbane show? They are playing on the same weekend as Karnivool, at the same venue, so that is going to be a goddamned awesome weekend for me :D

Two of my underaged friends are getting into the Laneway festival because one of them is having an underaged affair with the promoter or something. So yeah, I wish I could go, but Alas, no luck.

that slogan is a good slogan. so good, in fact, I think it should be applied to other things. like, "there's no wrong way to hit your spouse." or "there's no wrong way to commit nonconsentual sodomy."

And since this seems to be a general Aus tour discussion atm, Jello Biafra and the Melvins are due in a few months. Much excitement.

You see the one in Perth? It's exactly a week before I turn 18. I think I've bitched abot this before...
