Indeed, albeit with photo reference.

that is indeed, quality work, with the extreme lack of tools in the poorly made Microsoft Paint, that is a skill.

there should be a site where you can put up work that you has done in Microsoft Paint or MacPaint.

You know what the difference is between Paint and Photoshop?

Photoshop uses memory in your computer. Paint uses memory in your brain. Otherwise, there's not much difference between the two, really. Photoshop is just a time saver.

True... You can do quality work in Photoshop with nothing but the brush tool if you know what you're doing, its plethora of other tools aside. Limited tools don't matter as long as it has the essentials, and you've got the patience. Paint just has a unique quality to it, though. Its canvas just begs to be indiscriminately bombarded with blocky, simplistic scribbles, but if you take the time to use it as if it were fit to create fine art, you can come out with something that much more impressive, if only for the fact that it was done in Microsoft Paint, of all programs. If I had done this in Photoshop, I have to imagine it would have come out... the best word that comes to mind is, "generic."

I'm actually thinking about starting a website for people who have skull in Microsoft Paint and/or Mac Paint, summat like

www.microsoftpaint.co.uk

thought the copyright name may be an issue.

Corel Painter is also pretty awesome.  I tried the demo version that came with my Wacom tablet a couple of years ago, and I've been using it to ink all of my comics ever since.
