I'm sorry to do it but I've done some looking around and I just can't seem to find a solution to my itunes issues. What happend was I did some file reorginizing and than decided just to clear my itunes library and add my entire "shared music" folder (where I keep all of my files) this worked fine other than the fact that itunes created doubles of almost every album I have, I mean there's not actually 2 files just doubles in the itunes library and it's become very annoying. Anyone out there got any ideas?

Edit, select all, clear.
File, add new folder. Your doubles should be gone, unless they're in the folders your adding.

I did that actually, and no luck.

i'm not sure what the problem is, but do you have itunes/ipod set to manual, as opposed to the default which is automatic so it synchs the library and the ipod up.  that setting does some weird things.
