I also don't really mind some more poppy stuff providing I don't have to listen to it on repeat for 12 hours straight (yes, this has happened when I worked in retail) like Ashlee Simpson or Kelly Clarkson.

Whilst I'm usually rather discering with my music, I must admit to owning a few dodgy singles back when I was 12-ish... Think along the lines of Tatu...
I still think the brunette from that band is hot...

Whoa! Hold up. Nobody is allowed to start saying Tatu's 'All The Things She Said' is a bad song. It really shouldn't be a guilty pleasure, it ought to be a song your band covers (the Bonsai Kittens version is superb).
