GRAD SONGS WHAUGHUAHGH
Thrillho:
--- Quote from: Johnny C ---
--- Quote from: DynamiteKid ---I'm so glad I don't live in America.
--- End quote ---
I direct you humbly to my location at the side.
Third Eye Blind? Good idea.
--- End quote ---
OMGz, u liv @ da norf poll?
La Creme:
The only song is EELS - "Mr. E's Beautiful Blues"
Kirbo:
--- Quote from: DynamiteKid ---
--- Quote from: Kirbo ---Our song was 'Complicated' by Avril Lavigne? That made me lose all faith in humanity.
--- End quote ---
I'd rather have a hot 17 year old singing a crap pop song at me than half of the other things they'd probably suggest...
Avril Lavigne is the bane of my existance. Not hot, not talented, not punk, not worthy of life.
--- Quote ---I would say Blowin in the Wind by Bob Dylan, Ahead by a Century by The Tragically Hip, My Generation by the Who, We are the Champions by Queen.
--- End quote ---
Aren't those two a bit of a cliche?
--- End quote ---
Admittedly We are the Champions is cliche, but at least it's a good tune. I've never known anyone to use My Generation for grad either. Besides, Grad itself is cliche.....and stupid.
Boycott Grad kids. Do what I did. Sleep through it, then wake up and watch Blzing Saddles.
Bunnyman:
Oddly enough, the theme of our Grad Night was Blazing Saddles. Plate of fucking shrimp.
My graduation song was...Pomp and Circumstance. You'd think that, as a band kid, playing it for the other graduates three years in a row, I'd feel all special for having it played for me. Oddly enough, I couldn't wait for the experience to end.
Narr:
I think mine was "American Idiot" by Greenday.
Or it was some Celine Dion song, but I do recall hearing American Idiot either at, or just before we went into Graduation. I laughed really hard because it fit MY graduating class, at least. I mean, I had, like, a 3.2 GPA WEIGHTED, and I was in the top 20% of my graduating class. (I would like to state for the record I could have easily had a 4.075 GPA or whatever weighted max was if I didn't stop going to school for like 6 months, ending up with a C in a bunch of classes.)
