HIT SHUFFLE SAY YEAH
sandman263:
Frank & Walters - How Can I Exist (Irish. Very 90's)
ACDC - Thunderstruck (YEAH!)
Teddy Thompson - Shine (Singer-songwriter sings about how awful fame is)
Tom McRae - Got A Suitcase, Got Regrets (Singer-songwriter sings about suitcases & regrets. Seriously, my favourite singer)
John Murphy - The Last Message (From the ill-fated Sunshine soundtrack)
James - Destiny Calling (English. Very 90's. Reminds me of the year Arsenal won the league. Damnit, Sky Sports has helped create one of my happiest memories. Think they'll charge me for this?)
SigUr Ros - Njosnavelin (Enough said)
Gin Blossoms - Hey Jealousy (Yay! Bouncy, happy, cheesey pop-rock-lite!)

Well, with approx. 20 new people joining per day, and a current total of, oh, 512,939 posts, I'd be pretty sure that people have neither the time nor the inclination to search for EVERY SINGLE VARIATION of something that they think might be fun to post? In addition, with the rate of growth, should we newbies just be contented to read the old posts and think about how great it would have been if we had joined sooner, so we could participate?
a pack of wolves:
It's the house style, necroposting is frowned on if you have nothing new to add. List threads aren't that popular around here either. This was a dull thread, it really should have stayed dead. Why not start a new thread about an exciting band, local scene, genre or musical instrument you particularly like? Or one about Man Is The Bastard. I fucking love powerviolence.
Meg:
Air - mer du japon
Suburban Kids With Biblical Names - Shitty weekend
Violent Breakfast - Di quei colore di stoffa
The Get Up Kids - Close to home :-P
Beirut - Nantes
This Bike Is a Pipe Bomb - Casey Jones
M.I.A. - Jimmy (And now I'm going to dance around like crazy, excuse me.)

Pretty much, yeah. As a general rule you are go to post in any thread that has had replies in the last week or so, I would say. Anything significantly older and you better have something damn good to add.
