Great album endings?

<< < (12/20) > >>

Ravenbomb:
"Hey Hey My My (Into the Black)" by Neil Young, from Rust Never Sleeps
"Outside the Wall" by Pink Floyd, from The Wall
"Silver and Gold" by Joe Strummer, from Streetcore
"Eclipse" by Pink Floyd, from Dark Side of the Moon
"Closing Time" by Tom Waits, from Closing Time

Storm Rider:
Dream Theater - Images and Words - Learning to Live

After seeing them play this live, it's quickly becoming one of my favorite songs.

Johnny C:

--- Quote from: E. Spaceman ---Mogwai Fear Satan is awesome but for Mogwai closers I'd take Stop Coming to My House.

Hells yes.

I'm going to take issue with "This Heart's On Fire." It works right up until the last like fifteen seconds of it, which piss me off every time. JUST FUCKING END IT HUGE, ASSHOLES.

I can't believe I didn't include Metric's "Love Is A Place" from Old World Underground, Where Are You Now? What an ending.

Shaft:
I am sure I have seen this topic before, and I'm sure I mentioned

Oceansize - Everyone Into Position - Ornament/Last Wrongs
Animals On Wheels - Designs and Mistakes - Stan's Soluble Fish
Boards Of Canada - MHTRTC - Happy Cycling
Reuben - Very Fast Very Dangerous - Return Of The Jedi + Boy

Thrillho:

--- Quote from: Ravenbomb ---"Outside the Wall" by Pink Floyd, from The Wall

--- End quote ---

I always found that track to be boring and insubstantial after The Trial, but I guess it's conceptually essential.
