Great album endings?

"Eclipse" by Pink Floyd, from Dark Side of the Moon

YES. But you have to listen to that together with Brain Damage. That heartbeat... And that quote at the end:

"There is no dark side of the moon. As a matter of fact, it's all dark."

WHAT DOES THAT SHIT MEAN??? Will somebody please get high and think about it and then tell us?

Joseph:
It means that the moon produces no light of its own, and just reflects the light of the sun instead.

Ravenbomb:

I always found that track to be boring and insubstantial after The Trial, but I guess it's conceptually essential.

The best thing about Outside the Wall, is the "This is where" at the very end, Floyd's ability to connect the ends of albums is so good.
--- End quote ---

But that connects to the start of the Wall...during the opening, there's a "where we came in?"
--- End quote ---

exactly

33 years on, and the stoners' work is done.

JLM:
The Album Leaf - In A Safe Place - Bonus Track:  I'm not sure if the track actually counts as part of "Moss Mountain Town" or not.  All I know is that the first time i heard this I didn't get it.  Finally I cranked up the volume on my speakers and heard quite possibly the best ending song ever.

B. Fleischmann - The Humbucking Coil - Aldebaran Waltz - More than ending song, B. Fleischmann managed to keep the appropriate tone and feel for every song on this album.  One of the first great releases of 2006.

That's all I got for now.
