Just like the title says. It's currently going for 75% off, or $5. If you felt a little weird spending $20 for a several year old game, go get it now cause it's seriously one of the best RPGs you'll ever play.
Just save the Malkavian play through for a 2nd or later play through. It's a lot funnier, creepier and disturbing if you've gone through the game already.

BUY IT. I COMMAND YOU TO.
-
It makes me sad that the game sold like a wet paper bag. A few bugfix mods here and there and it's one of the best RPGs around.
-
I do as you command sire ackblom

The whole damn story is a tragedy, really. In its short life, Troika really was the best of the best as far as RPG design was concerned.
-
Oh god this is sad. Troika was so, so great. Sure, they had bug issues in their games. Big deal. That's what patches are for. They made some of the most exciting, engaging RPGs out there. Track down a copy of Arcanum - a streampunk fantasy free-roaming masterpiece - and tell me it's not brilliant. V:tM-BL is similarly amazing. It isn't perfect by any means but it's innovative and gory and so damn cool.

Im sorry but Arcanum can kick shit out of that game. Im not saying that Masquerade is bad game but come on steve.
Edit: also now i notice you used word "one of the best" there

Alrighty, I have the UP v7.6b and the Clan Quest Mod v2.1. Anything else?
-
Nah, just dive in.
-
I wonder if my saved games will get destroyed if I install the new patch. I have the game unofficially patched to 5.something.
Or rather if I should just start anew? I did so much and remember most of it.
-
Just start afresh. The game is best at the start anyway.
-
Start over and play as an entirely different character. It'll be the same plot but the way you accomplish things can change completely.
-
If you remember most of what you did, play Malk.
-
bought it, just need windows now
-
There is very direct reference to Cthulhu in this game that made me chuckle. This game is such a blast, bugs aside.
-
Oh man I'm gonna go reinstall my copy today
-
I still have a half finished Nosferatu playthrough to finish on this I think.
Damnit, I just fired up Planescape the other day too. It's gonna be nostalgia gaming month.

The only problem, besides the crashing, is the fact that I know virtually every quest, person and dialogue off by heart, or at least well enough to know what they are going to say before they do.
It just kind of spoils the "mystery" edge a bit, but I guess thats a problem with games like this.
