It has become customary to greet newcomers an a foreign language. celticgeek here started with Welsh, and others followed suit eventually.

Mando'a. Something like "Hello, my friend/comrade. We welcome you. You are (traitorous - possibly 'unknown'?) but will be a 'friend'." I'm not sure of that last sentence.

Pilchard: Great! Though "aruetyc" is better translated as "stranger". It can mean "traitor" as well, but only applied to other Mando'ade, in general it's "stranger".
How did you do the translation?
-
I found a Mando'a dictionary somwhere.
-
Probably the original Traviss one, if it was a Excel file. Does it contain stuff like the a'/a/al prefix and the "ven" future as well? I used a grammar summary for that.
-
It does have those, yes. It was this one (http://www.mandoa.org/).
