Youre welcome :D

Hey, I've seen this before. Over on GAFF's message boards. This is cool! Thanks! :D

Some friends of mine had the largest, most pretensions argument about this site a while back. The point it came down to was that even though it introduced you to good bands occasionally, a proper good taste in music requires a well balanced serving of irony. The system developed for this supposed music genome project had no way of calculating let alone understanding a sense of irony and thus was disreputably flawed.
Keep in mind I didn't say any of it.
p.s. I've decided to give myself an Avatar

Blegh. I'm so sick of hipsters and their so-called "irony". "Yeah, I really like this band, but only 'cause they're so crap, you know?"
-
God, I'm really beyond help in that respect. Everything's so ironic it hurts.

"Here's that cannon-ball guy. Yeah, he's cool."
"Dude, are you being sarcastic?"
"I don't even know any more."

"Who comes up with slang these days, anyway? How did "sick", "bad" and "ill" become compliments? Before long, street kids will be going up to one another: "man, you are a fucking asshole!" "hey, thanx dood."" - Ishkur

I like the way I veered this topic.

"Ill" has been rap slang since the early eighties, surely?
