Hey guys, I have a radio show at Gettysburg College, for which I need listeners. You can listen to the Brasserie: Iron City Tues. and Fri. at midnight on the interweb!
To tune in with Winamp / iTunes / Music Match use this link

Basically, I'd love to get listener feedback about the show, for both its content and my on-air personality. I'm putting a resume together and need some good quotes. Hopefully I can weasel my way into satellite radio and continue playing the punk rock.

If you play Oingo Boingo, I'm in.

What music do you play?

What music do you play?
Mostly punk and psychobilly, trying to focus on newer/rare material. I also play smatterings of garage, old ska, and old country, and may add some folk metal depending on how much I can get my hands on within the next week. I try for a diverse show given the limitations of the genres, and try to focus the show on the music as opposed to me, since I'm not a terribly interesting person.

Sounds pretty cool. I might give it a listen tomorrow. What timezone are we meaning by midnight?
Also, if you want some folk metal, I have a pretty impressive collection. I could zip you some mp3s or something.

I go to school in PA, so Eastern Standard Time presumably.
And I'd love some Salem or Elvenking if you have any; I've got Finntroll and Trollfest and that's more or less it for folk-metal, but I dig the sound.

You know, we get a fair amount of "listen to my radio station BLAUGHUAHGH" posts around here.
None of them are very interesting. Except this one. Because of psychobilly and folk metal. FUCK YEAH

I'm not sure I'd call Salem folk-metal in the traditional sense. They've got that whole eastern vibe going, with the Hebrew lyrics and all...well, I suppose it is folk metal but just not in the normal sense of folk.
Would you like me to slap you together a selection of tracks from other good bands apart from that? Methinks you need some Korpiklaani, Waylander, Cruachan, Skyclad and Agalloch at least. I'll give you some Elvenking as well but I've never been over-keen on them. Too Italian, if you get what I mean.
PM me an email address.

Done and done. Anyone else feel like tuning in?

Right, I sent you a zip with:
Agalloch - ...And The Great Cold Death of the Earth
Cruachan - 1014
Elvenking - White Willow
Forefather - To The Mountains They Fled
Korpiklaani - Wooden Pints
Skyclad - Spinning Jenny
Waylander - Born to the Fight
Wuthering Heights - Bad Hobbits Die Hard
Wyrd - Huldrafolk
Which should provide a few classics, as well of an indication of where to go next. I tried to keep a balance between cleaner folk stuff and folk/black, but I had to put Huldrafolk on there. It's a pretty damn brutal and low-fi, but very awesome, track.
If for any reason it doesn't arrive or won't fit in your inbox, let me know and I'll use yousendit.
