Title: No topic about Brisco County, Jr.? For shame!
Post by: Bastardous Bassist on 07 Apr 2006, 10:10: Is anyone other than I rediculously excited that this show is finally being released on DVD? I remember watching this from the first episode. Bruce Campbell as a sci-fi cowboy? Hellz yeah!

It's really good. I was young enough that I hadn't seen or heard of any of the Evil Dead movies (though, I may have seen clips of AoD), so I was just watching it based on its own merits. That show started my Bruce Campbell fascination.

Post by: Hustler on 07 Apr 2006, 10:56: I'm also a big Campbell fan who never really was aware of Brisco when it was on, and thus didn't get a chance to see it. I did enjoy his other show, Jack of All Trades, though. And if I know him, I imagine he played both shows rather similarly.

I got to meet Bruce once for a signing after seeing that movie, Man with the Screaming Brain. He's a pretty cool guy.

What's funny is that as cool as he is, I could kind of tell he was tired of being asked certain questions. Before he started his Q&A session in the movie theater he said he didn't want to be asked about doing another Evil Dead movie, whether Brisco County, Jr. is coming back, or about Ash vs. Freddy vs. Jason.

Have you read any of his books?

I'd steer clear of the countless fangirly questions and skip straight to the whole squealing and tearing off his shirt while my mate took a photo. Actually I'm not sure which one he'd like less...
