Good for you. As long as you never, ever read anything that was ghostwritten or completed by August Derleth, you can't really go wrong with Lovecraft.

Unless, of course, you're not a white person of European descent. In which case, you're subhuman anyway. *sarcasm*

On a vaguely similar note, I got an entire series of Frankenstien inspired short stories for two bucks from a sale in the middle of the mall a few weeks ago. There was some fucked up Vonnegut story.

In short, short stories of horror are brilliant.

It is pretty much about a woman who is kept alive through organs that are harvested, and she is pretty rich, and she has technicians as her personal slaves. It is pretty fucking weird.

The Book is called "The Ultimate Frankenstein", the Vonnegut short story is called "Fortitude"

Also, sorry for high-jacking this off from Lovecraft, I was pretty drunk when I was posting on here last night. The connection I made was pretty damn tentative.
