Title: [Book] (Detective/spy) thrillers !
Post by: Alegis on 01 May 2006, 05:44
Anyone else really into this genre ?

Not as much detective, but I started to love Robert Ludlum's spy thrillers the recent years. The Janson's Directive being my favorite until now.

Any very good recommendations for this genre, experiences etc?

I don't care what anyone else says but you can't go wrong with the classics - Dashiell Hammett and Raymond Chandler. Ellroy isn't bad either.

QFT.  I dig Hammett and Chandler.  Whenever I read them I want to go all film noir on someone.
