In a few weeks, a new show will premiere on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim late-night block. It's created by the same person as Home Movies, and has been described as 'Spinal Tap meets Scooby-Doo.'
According to Brendon Small, "The show is basically about a (half-American/half Norwegian) metal band that is about a million times bigger than the Beatles. But a million times more dangerous and a millions times more stupid. This show promises violent murder. Violent violent murder. And metal."
Here's (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1C4FqTfFma8&search=metalocalypse) one of the many promos that have been airing.
Obviously from the Finntroll reference in the grocery store name and the fact that Michael effin' Ammott has said his voice will be in the show, it's pretty clear these guys know their shit. Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield are also confirmed as contributing voice talent, and multiple members of Nevermore are said to be involved, although that hasn't been confirmed.
I just love the concept of a show that really captures the tongue-in-cheek nature of the entire genre. I just want to know who else will give guest voices.

Michael Amott is involved with this.
YE GODS I MUST ACQUIRE SKY WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK.

Douchebags!
...sorry.

I am so pumped. Home Movies was pretty much my favorite show ever.

He said specifically that he has recorded some voice work, but he doesn't know when exactly it'll be used, so it might not be the premiere episode.

I absolutely loved Home Movies, and this looks awesome.
