OK, I've been reading up on this because I cannot wait for Sunday, and I've compiled a list of the confirmed voice talent so far:

James Hetfield (Metallica)
Kirk Hammett (Metallica)
Michael Ammott (Arch Enemy)
Warrell Dane (Nevermore)
Jeff Loomis (Nevermore)
Steve Smyth (Nevermore)

And apparently Brendon Small has spoken to KING MOTHERFUCKING DIAMOND over the phone and was 'hoping to record him in June'. And Mark Hamill is in it too!

THIS SETTLES IT. THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST THING TELEVISION HAS SEEN, EVER. EVER EVER EVER.

Seriously, King Diamond and Luke Skywalker. I am totally spazzing out here.

It was alright, I guess.

I'm sure it'a a lot funnier if you're reallllly into Metal.  I was kind of expecting something a little more.  I think William Murderface is the best Nick Nolte impression I've ever heard though.

Skwisgaar Skwisgelf and Toki Wartooth absolutely stole it.  That alone was enough to keep me interested.

I thought it was pretty great. I'm watching it again to try and figure out who Hammett and Hetfield were.

Sorry for the double post, but there have also been some bumps on adult swim previewing the plots of some future episodes. There's gonna be one about composing a death metal lullaby to put a rampaging troll to sleep, one involving recording an album on a nuclear submarine, and one about visiting the bands' parents.

All I can say is this: If King Diamond voices Nathan Explosion's corpse-paint-wearing father, then the absolute pinnacle of human achievement will have been reached. Nothing could even approach that level of awesome.

NECRO THREAD OMG

I just watched the third episode online, and it was also great. I was sorta worried after the second episode wasn't as good as the first, but this latest one was awesome and so I am super excited again. The guys from Nevermore and Michael Ammott still haven't shown up in the voice cast yet though.

Jeff Loomis is really good but so is Steve Smith...  Who kind of got screwed all to hell, he was born with one kidney and developed a medical condition that caused it to eat itself.  He's now on dialisis waiting for a new kidney; I sure hope he pulls through.  I don't really like them but damn he's a good player and that shit just sucks big time...
