Is that serious? One, I have never seen that, and two, that's absolutly one of the worst things I've ever seen in my life.
-
Myself and Oli came up with it. Don't hate.

Man, butternut you.

There's a chance i'll see them and Of Montreal in November. I like both bands alright, but i'm hesitating about paying 70$ when the rest of the lineup is composed of bands i could not care less about.
-
Gross. Don't pay it. That's my opinion.

Ah. I thought it was some thing that was all over the internet. If it was a product of QC forum creativity, then that's quite good.
Hi Nolaw Nocrime!
-
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah is horrible live.
-
But, Architecture in Helsinki was incredible live.
-
i've seen them 5 times. they used to play everywhere in Aus all the time. then they discovered international fame and forgot about the fans who supported them when they played free gigs at university lawns
*sniffle*
that was the show where they had people act like animals to win a copy of In Case We Die and i was an elephant and a girl bit me on the ankle and because she was a crocodile (or maybe an alligator) she won the CD instead of me
fun times. haven't seen them in like a year

I was at the show at the troc in philly too. The kid in front of me lit his hair on fire. Takka takka was good and CYHSY was okay, but AIH was absolutely incredible. My friends got to meet them and I didn't and that kinda sucks but it was an astonishing set.

It's so weird thinking about AiH being famous. A few years back I was at house parties with various members in Melbourne, or chatting to them at gigs in crappy pubs. The release party for the first album at the Rob Roy turned into a massive R&B night. :D Awesome. Saw Cameron Bird do an excellent electronica jam with extra cool guy Qua (http://www.quamusic.com) at Revolver, this slowly building thing based around slices of Prince's Little Red Corvette. :)
Edit: Yeah, yeah, "I was there" - LCD Soundsystem..
-
I really can't stand Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. I *tried* to like them, I really did, but the vocals and I truly don't get along. However, I'm quite jealous of all of you who've seen AiH, as they're fanstastic and played a 19+ show here -sigh-. Only a few years.

Yeah.... they were this band that i liked 'cause i was new in Aus and saw them open for Belle & Sebestian. Kelli lived in Bondi for a bit and i saw her at a local record store and at Laneway. they're just... this band
same thing with Augie March and The Grates. i guess it'd be even weirder if i knew the Wolfmother guys, but i don't think i do
