One of the many reasons I still check this forum regularly, all the amazing artist( and the music threads are usually good for a tip off to a band or a good laugh).

This is awsome. Must have been some realy hectic drugs you were on.
I mean I draw little things while I'm stoned (like Smacky: The Herion Snail) but this must have been some trippy LSD or something.

Actually, it was just a couple of slim joints rolled in my ciggie machine and a few cans of strongbow. I've produced similiar, but much less spontaneous, things sober. That was the underlying painting, I finished off the detailed stuff with fineliner, pencil, feltpens and stuff a few days later, clean of any influences. People who take strong LSD tend to produce art (during the trip at least) that makes even less sense than my picture. Kind of like when I was smoking salvia divinorum one time, and I had this flash of inspiration and completed the Times Cryptic Crossword in under a minute, sure that I had tapped into some well of cosmic, synchronistic genius that allowed me to see the underlying symbolic reality of all things.

When I looked at it sober I had, of course, filled the whole thing with complete gibberish.

Though not technically a drug, the crap that I have seen whilist under the temporary-psychosis of salvia is not even closely compared to this.
