It was my favorite show growing up. :-D
-
Yes!! With Enzo and Dot... and..... wow, I can't remember their names anymore!!
-
Enzo, Dot, Bob, Matrix, AndrAIa, Fong, Megabyte, Hexadecimal, Hack, Slash, Daemon, Surfer, and many many more! I really wish they'd air it again, or put out the DVDs.
-
heh, yeah. It was pretty high tech back in the good old days. Hack and Slash = my favourites!
-
I'd have to say Matrix and Sexadecimal were my favs. Matrix because of his kickass eye and gun. Sexadecimal because she was so crazy.
-
The show was pretty cheesy.
The movies that Cartoon Network produced were amazing.
-
Well of course it was cheesy it was about computers and games! But that's also what made it so awesome!
-
Every time you play a game, you're really killing living things inside your computer. That is unless they change their tag at the last minute and leave your computer with the game to travel through the internet to other people's computers.
That show made the most sense out of any show ever.

HAHAHAHAHA!! Oh man...good times right there. That's what really kicked off season 3 and made it the best season in my opinion.

show=fucking awesome
video game=horrible beyond all belief, but only $16

There was a video game?! :-o
-
Actually, I was watching this recently (on a friend's pc). Memory lane...
-
I thought Reboot was cool. I watched it whenever I could, even the reruns, because they were still better than most other crap that was on. Bob the Guardian. I guess he was like a combination firewall/antivirus dude. Enzo was annoying, though.

Yeah he was at first, til he became Matrix and then he became somewhat cool. But then again Enzo did help beat Daemon, which is like the only useful thing he did.
-
Hahaha. I used to love this show as a kid, I'd watch it every day after school. Megabyte defines awesome -- what other villain would ever randomly pop into some annoying kid's birthday party, play a mean axe for him, and then give him the totally awesome guitar he was just playing? Come to think of it, that's really the only memory I have of the show.
-
Did I watch Reboot?
WARNING. INCOMING GAME.
That should answer your question.

That episode was awesome!! *Goes to watch it now*
-
Megabyte was cool. Once in a while, he and Bob would form a temporary alliance to defeat a greater threat to the system in general, but I forgot about the guitar jam. "MegaByte has left the building!"
Hexidecimal was just a crazy wacky bitch, though. I think the whole point of her was that she was the truly crazy enemy, while Megabyte was the intelligent, calculating one. Which is more dangerous? Hard to say. I guess that's why we had both.
-
yeah there was a video game, and it was so very horrible
you play as bob and ride around on your floating board thing and fix rifts while being attacked by Megabytes drones.? it sucked so much that i did not care to get past the second level
-
the guitar jam
That was the best episode of Reboot. That and the weird X-Files story arc.

Hahaha, that arc was awesome. What with the double cross (that they sort of reused in Beast Wars) and what not. And Enzo becoming a Guardian. Superb!
-
do you guys remember the episode where they do the parody on Gilbert and Sullivan's "I am the very model of a Modern Major General"?
http://www.inwap.com/mf/reboot/episodes/344.html
i love this show
-
That episode was awesome! It was the last episode of season 3 and it recaped the entire season.
-
I vaguely recall Enzo and Dot dressed as Micheal Jackson (Thriller) and Elvira respectively when the user was playing an Evil Dead type of game called "Dead before Dawn." Again, I don't remember much about the general episode... but the image of Enzo somehow dodging bullets by grabbing his crotch will forever prey upon my mind at the darkest time of night.
GroOoovy.
-
LOL. That episode was so awesome! Enzo and Dot with the Thriller get up, the Evil Dead reference. Just so much awesome packed into episode.
-
Andreai in season three was stupid hot. Until girls in my grade developed that was waht I thought perfection was.
-
Ah yes, Reboot. Memories of my geeky childhood...
That led to my geeky adolesence...
And my geeky early 20's, so far.
I'm doing well.
-
I DID!
I can hardly remember shit about it. I used to have some toys that came with a breakfast cereal.
With the big purple cubes that came down? And his wrist doohickey called glitch?
-
DK! I think I had those exact same toys! Really tiny playsets that opened up? Those were way awesome if they're the ones you had.
-
Wow, I just came across this thread, and was staggered. I thought I was the only person who had ever seen Reboot, lol.
Awesome show, but I thought the last season with Daemon was a little odd. It just didn't have the same feel to it the earlier seasons had. Best moment ever: the opera at the end of season 3? Best character: Frisket. Best villain: Gigabyte. Best use of Glitch: Bob's BFG
-
I think I can safely say I have no memory of this show. Screenshots?

I knew I should've said something before. Now no one will believe me. But I also thought Gigabyte was the best, and the BFG is about the only Glitch configuration I can even remember. "I am become Gigabyte!" with thinner limbs that looked like they were made out of some metal that's 50 times stronger - nice effect. And when Bob said "Glitch! BFG!" I fell down laughing. You got bad guys to deal with? You need a B. F. G.
-
How long ago was this show on?
-

YES!

The last episode to air in the US was in November of 2001.
-
WARNING. INCOMING GAME.
Fucking win. I loved this show.
-
i watched reboot....
Bob=hero
Glitch= best watch ever
-
Last year one of my friends managed to download close to every episode. One night he drunkenly made me sit and watch about five of them, it was amazing. I have to say my faveroite episode is the talent show one. "Oh no, not breakdancing!"
-
I remember watching this and Voltron and stuff.
Good times.
-
I loved all the little inside jokes and pop culture references. One of my faves was when they all had to adopt different "forms" - they looked like they were wearing insect costumes or something. Enzo was a Grasshopper, Dot was a ladybug, etc. They're talking to Dr. Fong, and at some point Enzo asks a question, to which Fong replies "Yes, Grasshopper."
The joke (anyone still with me? probably not...) is that there was a show on in the 70's called "Kung Fu" starring David Carradine as Caine, a half-Chinese guy who studied martial arts. There were flashbacks to his training under a Chinese master who always called him "Grasshopper". The way Fong says "Yes, Grasshopper" - complete with Chinese accent - is exactly the same way Caine's master always said it. I literally fell on the floor when that joke came up, and wondered how much of the setup (Enzo in Grasshopper outfit, talking to Fong) was just for that punchline, since I was 1 of maybe 3 people in the whole world who got the joke.
-
It was a funny show. I remember the mortal kombat episode.
-
I watched this show religiously.
My best memory is waiting for the final showdown between Enzo and Megabyte. And when the fight actually happened, it was like fucking kickass in a can.
-
Modem and Nully anyone?
-
This makes me more excited than a necrophilliac in a morgue.

was it just me or was Mouse pretty much useless?
-
Reboot? Why yes, I watched Reboot. It was a damn fine show. It started off as a cheesy kind of 3D animated show in its beginnings, but as the series went on, it became an actual story with decent plot, characters, and settings (like Beast Wars/Beasties, another 3D show made by Mainframe Entertainment).
My only gripe with the series is that it ended on a cliffhanger at "My Two Bobs"'s close. The sad thing is that it'll never get finished either as all the people who made Reboot in the first place have all left Mainframe Entertainment.
Reboot. May you rest in peace. You'll always live on in my mind, though. And through re-runs, I guess.
-
The show always weirded me out quite a bit, though it was highly enjoyable
-
Hex was like a cross between Picasso, a modern art fanatic, and the entire population of an asylum
-
Mouse was a hacker. She did some kind of thing with the firewall to keep Megabyte and Hex in their section of Mainframe, and his Mainframe from the web. It's been a while though... I'm surprised II remember that much even.
And upon mentioning to my friends about how great Reboot was, I found out there are like two movies made to conclude the series. I've never seen them though.
-
Okay guys. Going nerdcore on you.
Mouse was useful with the whole firewall thing. And then she was useful right at the very end of the "last" season when she converted the tear into a portal to the web instead of the supercomputer, where Megabyte was headed.
Not that it mattered though, because Daemon controlled the supercomputer. She woulda fucked Megabyte right up regardless.
-
wow.. memories. I loved this show as a kid. The end of the series got a little weird to me. Never knew about the movies.

Actually it ended on a cliffhanger at "Crouching Binomes, Hidden Virus". If you want I can tell you more.
-
Watched it.
Loved it.
Owned every action figure of it.
Don't remember a thing about it.
-
And in related news, all four seasons in their entirety have just become available to me. I'll be gone for awhile...

I watched reboot on and off as a kid, but then again I didn't watch that much tv when I was younger
-
A great show. I especially loved the episodes with "The X-Files" parody character Fax Modem and whatever pseudonym they came up with for Dana Scully.
