What do you think about making the daily QC downloadable for things like Creative Vision and Ipods that do photo/video? Not sure of the technical details yet, but possibly each panel would need to be 320 x 240.. that would eliminate word bubbles to make room for maximum art in reduced space... so maybe some people could do voiceover work to provide the "voices"? I'd offer to do one of the few "older" characters...
I think that people would like pocketable webcomics - but as noted, the format puts some restrictions on the creators of said comics...

Personally, I don't think it's a good idea. People usually have a way that they think a character sounds. Take for example Batman. I always associate his voice with the darker voice of the 90's animated series. So when The Batman came out on tv this past year, I was a little miffed about how younger he was. Maybe he was supposed to be younger, but the voice didn't seem right.
Unless the creator himself (in this case, Jeph) has a definitive voice in mind when writing characters, I don't think it should be put to audio, at least not in an official context. Besides, who could truly capture Faye's sass?

Besides, who could truly capture Faye's ass?
CORRECT'D.
Also, think of the amount of work that would have to be done for this. Voicing, resizing, de-texting, making sure that it's look-at-able... The last one alone - each panel will be about a quarter of its current size, so Jeph would either have to draw two versions or cut out a fair bit of detail. Then we would miss out on cute Dora in panel 2 of #756, for example. Not to mention that Jeph is already working all kinds of hard on drawing the comic and shipping stuff and whatnot.
It's a nice idea, but not really feasible.

It would be feasible if someone other than Jeph did it, maybe. It probably wouldn't be used enough to justify that though.
When QC's rivalling Peanuts, then we'll see.

Funny how someone comes up with this idea at a time when Jeph is putting MORE detail into each panel than ever before....
