i got out early [home by like 4:30] and made a skirt.
The material is indian silk out of sari material i bought in Singapore.
I just kinda cut it into a square and made a hankerchief skirt. The waist band was tough though, i really should have drawn up a pattern for it, but i was too lazy.

It was basically done when my parent's came home from work about 8:30.

That looks great! Did you do any kind of measuring/patterning before you started?

the first thing i did was cut a square and sew the edges. Then i measured around my waist, and guestimated a circle in the middle. It turned out a little big, but perfect for my hips with the help of a waistband ;)

Sadly, your face is obscured by the flash, but it's a cool effect, and we can still see the skirt okay. It looks very nice!

That looks like a great skirt. Now I want a skirt just like it. Can I steal your skirt idea Fatty? pretty please????

Nice skirt, but almost all digital cameras have a self-timer.
