I don't know if everyone's heard yet, but 300 is going to be shown in Imax theatres. You know, the ones with eight story screens, and wraparound digital surround.
This film is going to melt faces, impregnate women, and kill children.
THIS IS SPARTA

almost everything is better in IMAX
wait...no...everything is better in IMAX
-
Even my cock!

In IMAX, my penis would put pornography to shame.
In real life, my penis is barely larger than my cell phone (which is a Sanyo Katana, very small.)
In other words, I require IMAX for penises, or as I call it, PMAX
-
TMI.
But yes, I will go and see this in IMAX. Yea, even though it means a trip to Sydney.

IMAX is love. especially the cool videos they show at our natural history museum about space and sea life and...you're not talking about science.
boo.

Nightmare Before Christmas in full 3D on an Imax screen? Yes please.
-
Man, the Southbank Theatre has an IMAX screen, and it is more than twice (almost thrice) as cheap as any other cinema.
I am not sure how this buisness model operates, but it is fucking excellent
Although I must admit sometimes they do make a piss poor decision about what movie should be on the big screen. I really don't need to see a giant 25 metre Will Smith overcoming adversity or whatever the fuck he was doing in that movie.

THIS MIGHT BE IMAX?
I have to see if I still have a local IMAX and if this is showing.
Yes I do, and the listings look bleak:
12:30pm Santa vs Snowman 3D
1:45pm Africa's Elephant Kingdom 2D
3:00pm Cyberworld 3D
4:15pm Everest 2D
5:30pm Cyberworld 3D
6:45pm Ski to the Max 2D
But it has a while till release, so hopefully it will make on, in between this crap.

Wow, I can't believe they still make those IMAX movies. They are like watching plot exposition scenes in one of those really ridiculously epic pornos, in that I can only marvel at how much money it must have cost to produce this waste of my damn time.

I dunno, I saw "Open Season" in 3D at an IMAX. The rain made me feel sick - the way it felt like it was falling from above my head. Very cool. Didn't see it in a regular cinema though, so couldn't comment on whether it did make it better.
I didn't see it in 3D but Batman Begins at the London IMAX was awesome. The screen was so big I gave up on wearing my glasses as the rims were blocked a portion of the screen.

300 is going to be mad fun. I've been pumped about it for months. It's gonna whoop some serious ass at the box office.
