Title: Mural (work in progress)
Post by: onewheelwizzard on 30 Jan 2007, 00:02: If anyone remembers the Sharpie'd Chuck Taylors I posted here (http://forums.questionablecontent.net/index.php/topic,10100.0.html), this is the continuation of my work in that style (oh man I sounded pretentious there).

I'm working on a mural in my room at the moment, here is what it looks like so far (the sides, top, and bottom have been cut off a bit ... quite a lot, in fact, in the case of the sides. I'll get a more complete/better quality picture up when I can). For scale reference, the center Golden Chao symbol is about the size of a CD. What you see here was done mainly with Sharpie paint pens and took about a month of intermittant work.

Turns out, unfortunately, that the two symbols embedded within the Golden Chao are generally side-by-side instead of vertically oriented. Ah well.

Since this picture, I extended the dancing mushroom men to the other end of the wall and then gave them a background. Also, I finished up the flame-y stuff in the bottom left corner. More pictures to come as progress continues. Oh, and I have some closer-ups if people want to see them ... I don't want to spam everyone with redundant images, but if you want more, say so.

I admit that I have a very naïve understanding of Discordianism, but I can't imagine any Discordians would really care?

I should add that the procession of mushroom men has since been extended all the way to the right border of the wall, filled in, and given a background, so the 3 or so inches above the border that they're running on is now without any whitespace. Updated pictures will happen soon, I hope.
