Pull in Emergency is a a band I stumbled upon reading a music blawg that really surprised me. They are 5 12-14 year olds that play catchy simple rock songs. The lead singer's voice makes her sound like she is at least 25.
Here is a track by them. Listen and discuss! Pull in Emergency - What you Say. (http://www.box.net/public/n3oy1do4zs)

YOU KNOW WHO ELSE IS BETWEEN 12 AND 14 AND MAKES MUSIC?

Forget about Pull in Emergency. Prussian Blue wins everything forever. <3333
Serious post time: I still have trouble believing that girl is only 14 at most. It's really creepy. They're pretty impressive for their age, but I think I'd be uninpressed if they were grownups. Still, I wish I'd been that cool at 14.

I sense adults behind the scene. I can see the singers 14 though, but that might just be the fact that I'm English? Dunno. They're from laahndaahn taaaahn, right? Sounds like something else I can't put my finger on.
Also, I started writing music when I was 15 and put out my first demo when I was 16. It ain't THAT impressive.
Thought to be fair my early stuff was pretty shit.
EDIT: The Smiths?
EDIT EDIT: From a Guardian article about them I looked up because I was bored: 'Alice Costelloe, 14, the Johnny Marr-worshipping guitarist'. AH HA. Also, now I think about it, I've seen bands this young before myself, playing original material. My sisters band are all under 14, though they are dangerously shit, never practice and have written I think only one song, and I once saw a fairly decent punk band who were all 15 and under.

I agree, the lead singer must be a fucking freak if that's her voice and she's the age she claims to be.
Also, though I give props to these kids for making pretty good songs at their age, I can't help but point out the fact that it seems unlikely that 14 year olds would need to "spend some time apart to figure things out" or "want each other out of the house". But seeing as how I don't live in London and don't know their customs, I probably shouldn't just assume that teenagers aren't in deep relationships and don't live in houses with eachother :?
